Does Polite Provisions take reservations?

To preserve the spontaneity and convivial atmosphere of the bar, Polite Provisions is all open seating, so no reservations are accepted.

Does Polite Provisions offer food?

Although, we do not have a kitchen Fortunate Son, which is our sister property next door, has a wide variety of delicious and affordable food that can be enjoyed at Polite Provisions.

Is Polite Provisions available to book for private events?

We have a semi-private event space that accommodates 20 – 35 guests. Event packages are not available Friday, Saturday, Sunday, or major holidays.

Does Polite Provisions allow minors under 21?

Due to California state law, no minors are allowed within the bar. This is because Polite Provisions is a type 48 liquor license, which
stipulates that everyone in the bar must be at least 21 years of age.

Does Polite Provisions have free parking?

We have a private parking lot off of 30th Street that is specifically for Polite Provisions guest. If it is filled up there is also street parking available.

I had a cocktail there that is no longer on the menu. Can you still make it for me?

Our menu changes quite frequently due to seasonal availability, but we can usually make most drinks that have appeared on past menus. However, in the case that we are unable, we will do our best to make you a bespoke cocktail to suit your mood.
